Black Friday Emergency: A Showcase of Mega Services’ Commitment and Capability

A few years ago, on Black Friday, while Mega Services was closed for the holiday, an urgent call came in from one of our newer clients. They had a critical power-up job scheduled at a site in New York, but a key support technician failed to show up. New Client contact, tried repeatedly to reach our office, but with it closed, he received no response, until the call finally reached my personal cell while I was out shopping.

Recognizing the urgency in Client’s voice and understanding the importance of earning this new client’s trust, I quickly stepped away to assess the situation. Knowing we were familiar with the site, I contacted our tech, one of our most reliable lead techs, and asked him to assemble a team, including a helper, who could be on-site within the hour. Our tech confirmed immediately and got to work. I called the New Client back with the update, and he was visibly relieved.

Within 45 minutes, our tech and his helper arrived, only to find two client techs already there. Soon after, the originally scheduled helper from our side also arrived, delayed by holiday traffic. With five technicians on-site, plus the building’s IT staff, New Client and I decided to keep everyone in place to expedite the work.

What was initially expected to take eight hours was completed in just two. The Site’s IT team was pleased, New Client was impressed, and all techs finished early. What began as a potential failure turned into a clear demonstration of Mega Services’ reliability, responsiveness, and teamwork, even on holiday.
